On May 8, the program "Embark on a New Journey and Make Contributions in the New Era: New Look of Old Revolutionary Base Areas" (Hubei Episode) was broadcast on the News Channel of the Central Radio and Television Station (CRTS), presenting the new look of the old revolutionary base areas of Jingzhou at length.

Honghu's agricultural and sideline products were displayed in front of the audience and the two anchors showered praises on the trendy products such as Honghu lotus root and lotus-leaf coffee saying that they are delicious as they had tasted the patented trendy drinks from the old revolutionary base areas of Honghu before!

In the chapter "How to Turn Native Products to Trendy Products", the live-streaming video demonstrated the process of how Honghu agricultural and sideline products are turned into trendy drinks and food.

In the chapter of "Accelerating the Revitalization by Building New Roads in Old Revolutionary Base Areas", the transportation in Jingzhou was introduced in detail. So far, six Yangtze River bridges have been set up in Jingzhou, connecting the city with its citizens more closely.

Last year, Jingzhou renovated a total of 378 dangerous and old bridges for the safety of citizens.

Besides, CRTS also focused on the new "residents" in the old revolutionary base area of Shishou, Shishou Elk National Nature Reserve, and Shishou Yangtze River Tian’ezhou White-flag Dolphin National Nature Reserve.
